Since 2010 The Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District has worked with our State and Federal Partners to attract over $36,000,000 in investments to expand and attract business and industry to our region.
As a requirement of the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration Planning Investment, Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District developed a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) that will serve as a blueprint to diversify and strengthen our regional economies.

REGIONAL FEDERAL PARTNERS
A federal authority working with 8 member states to serve the Delta region by improving regional economic opportunities, creating jobs, building communities and improving lives.
The Economic Development Administration, an agency in the U.S. Department of Commerce, makes investments in economically distressed communities to create jobs for American workers, promote innovation and accelerate long-term sustainable economic growth.
USDA Rural Development administers and manages housing, business and community infrastructure and facility programs through a national network of state and local offices.
STATE PARTNERS
The Arkansas Economic Development Commission is state agency designated to create economic opportunity in our state. They offer incentives to expand and attract business and industry to Arkansas.
The Arkansas Rural Services is a Division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. They provide grants and technical assistance to communities in Arkansas with a population less than 20,000.
